Abandoned by Man, Not by God

"I yearn for your love,
I crave your presence,
I crave your attention,
See me, love me, just like how you love others.
Appreciate me, acknowledge me just like you do to other children.
I am your child, what makes me different?
My heart feels empty, there is a gap I thought you could fill, but alas only God can fill the void that is within me with everlasting satisfaction and love. His love endureth forever.
Yes, I have been rejected by man but not by God.
I am not approved by a man but by God.
I am certified and full in Christ.
He lives in me and His word is alive in me.
I am more than enough and I can do the impossible because of Him who lives in me.
All the noises around me try to hold me back but I break loose like a caged bird longing for freedom. He has set me free from the bondage of the enemy. The enemies' noises that cluttered my mind have been replaced by sweet melodies of God’s voice. Telling me to surrender because he already bore it on the cross. "
Don’t worry my child I am a God who never lies. A father to the fatherless. The only one who can fill the emptiness with serenity. Remember you are enough, you are worth it, you are chosen, and you are mine. I love you and never forget that. Thus says the Lord.
Being abandoned, depressed, and anxious have been the order of the day. It's now a norm and a part of us. All these issues have muddled our society. Traumatic experiences have marred women's hearts, building walls around themselves. They have been stripped of their self-worth. From childhood abandonment issues stemming into adulthood, happiness seems to be an illusion. Childhood was marred by horrific and terrifying experiences, adulthood doesn’t seem any better it’s a continuation of what has been marked as destiny. Who do they tell? , who can they open up to?
It has been therapy session after therapy session. The doctors just take down notes which are thrusted down the trash can when you don’t pay in full. Society has used their stories as case studies worsening and deepening the wound within. It’s now just a sad society harbored by past hurts that they never got the opportunity to talk about.
Jesus is saying to you today:
I know you are hurt. I know that the marriage you wanted didn’t work out, the childhood you wished for didn’t bring satisfaction. I know the person you trusted broke the promise. My arms are open to you. Welcome me in your heart, don’t shut me out of your life. I want you to trust me. Just surrender and let go. I know you don’t know what surrender means but just say the words “I surrender Lord” wholeheartedly and I will take over. Be vulnerable with me for I am a God who listens, who comforts. A God who brings peace. A God who mends the broken pieces and puts them together. You are unique and set apart. Your brokenness will bring joy and peace that no man can understand.
The word of God in Matthew 11:28-30 says “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Jesus is inviting you today to find solace in Him. He will give you peace and rest physically, emotionally, and spiritually. He will bring restoration for the things you have lost. He affirms you today to rest in him and experience the deep and everlasting love of the Father. He is also saying to you in Ephesians 4:32, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you”. Open your heart to forgiveness and all the chains will be broken, all the bolts loosened and experience peace that surpasses all understanding.
